Biography
A former Deputy Assistant Secretary of Health and Human Services during the Bush Administration, Patrick Fagan examines the relationship between family, community, and social problems. He also studies urban policy, the breakdown of the family in America, crime, and cultural issues. He has served as a Legislative Analyst for Senator Dan Coats of Indiana and, before becoming involved in public policy, was a family therapist, and clinical psychologist in the inner city and elsewhere.
Fagan, a native of Ireland, earned his master's degree in psychology at University College Dublin and has pursued doctoral studies at The American University. He is presently doing doctoral work at University College Dublin.
