FORA.tv Speaker - Qiu Zhijie

Qiu Zhijie was born in Zhangzhou, Fujian Province. P.R.CHINA in 1969 and graduated from China Academy of Art, Printmaking department, Hangzhou, China in 1992. He currently lives and works in Beijing and Hangzhou as an educator and artist.

As an artist, Zhijie is known for his calligraphy, photography and video-installation works. He has shown his works all over the world, including in New York, San Francisco, London, Berlin and Brazil. He is a professor of China Academy of Art in the Mixed Medial Art Department, a Mentor of MA, and Co-Director of the Visual Culture Center in China Academy of Art in Hangzhou.
