Isobel Coleman is a senior fellow for U.S. Foreign Policy and director of the Council's Women and Foreign Policy program. She recently coauthored "Strategic Foreign Assistance: Civil Society in International Security" and has a forthcoming book entitled "Quiet Revolution: Women and Social Change" in the Middle East, due for publication in 2007.
