Jason Smith teaches philosophy in the Graduate Studies in Art program at the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California. He is a cotranslator of Jean-Luc Nancy's Hegel: The Restlessness of the Negative (University of Minnesota Press, 2002), for which he also wrote the introduction.
