Biography

Felipe de Jesus Calderon Hinojosa is the current President of Mexico. He assumed office on December 1, 2006, and was elected for one six-year term that will end in 2012 without the possibility of re-election. He is affiliated with the National Action Party (PAN), the more conservative of the three major Mexican political Parties and which supports free-market reforms as a path towards sustainable growth.
