Robert Emmett Tyrrell, Jr. is an American conservative magazine publisher and columnist. Tyrrell is the founder, publisher and editor-in-chief of The American Spectator. Tyrrell was one of those behind the Arkansas Project, financed by Richard Mellon Scaife, to investigate Bill Clinton. His book, Madame Hillary: The Dark Road to the White House, likened Hillary Rodham Clinton's tenure as First Lady to that of the reign of a pre-revolutionary French monarch.
