Biography

Mark Tercek is president and CEO of The Nature Conservancy. Previously, he was a managing director at Goldman Sachs, where he headed the firm’s Center for Environmental Markets and its environmental strategy group. He played a major role in designing and implementing its environmental strategy, and he headed various business units, including corporate finance, equity capital markets, consumer/healthcare, and leadership development. He is a member of many boards and councils, and he serves as an adjunct professor of finance at New York University’s Stern School of Business.
