Biography

Judith F. Samuelson is executive director and founder of the Aspen Institute Business and Society Program, dedicated to developing leaders for a sustainable global society. She served as director of the Ford Foundation’s office of program-related investments and its social investment fund. She helped launch its corporate involvement initiative to encourage private-nonprofit partnerships and facilitate business opportunities with broad social benefits. She sits on the board of ACCION-New York, a nonprofit organization that contributes to the economic development of the New York metropolitan region by providing loans and advisory services to individuals and small businesses that do not have access to traditional sources of credit.
