Angie Howard is the Vice President in the Office of the President and Executive Adviser to the President of the Nuclear Energy Institute. Howard, who joined NEI in 1996, has had previous responsibilities for the organization's communications, external affairs and member relations activities. Before joining NEI, Howard was vice president and director of industry relations and information services for the Atlanta-based Institute of Nuclear Power Operations (INPO). She also was involved in the formation of the World Association of Nuclear Operators (WANO) and the development of communications activities for the WANO-Atlanta Center, which is collocated with INPO. Before joining INPO in 1980, she was employed by Duke Power Company from 1969 to 1980.
