Arnaud Huftier's research interest is Belgian literature. Huftier has authored numerous books and articles, including Stanislas-Andre Steeman. Aux limites de la fiction policiere (2006) and De onmogelijke Vertaling: de Nederlandstalige Belgische fantastische literatuur / L'impossible Traduction: le fantastique belge d'expression neerlandaise, De Tijdlijn (2004). He received a PhD in French literature from Ecole normale superieure in Paris.
