Biography

AJ Jacobs is an editor at Esquire magazine. He's the author of The Know-It-All: One Man's Humble Quest to Become the Smartest Person in the World, about his year spent reading the encyclopedia from A to Z.

His new book is The Year of Living Biblically: One Man's Humble Quest to Follow the Bible as Literally as Possible, about his attempt to abide by all the rules in the Bible, from the Ten Commandments to stoning adulterers. He also wrote the articles My Outsourced Life and I Think You're Fat.
