Ron Wyden is a US Senator (D-OR) and a respected voice on health care, technology policy, natural resources, and consumer advocacy. He serves on the Senate’s committees on Finance, Select Intelligence, Budget, Aging, Energy, and Natural Resources and on subcommittees on Forest and Public Land Management and Science, Technology, and Space. Previously, he served for 15 years in the US House of Representatives, representing Oregon’s third congressional district. A graduate of Stanford University and the University of Oregon School of Law, he has taught gerontology at several Oregon universities and was the founder of the Oregon chapter of the Gray Panthers.
