Biography

Mark Easton is a journalist and broadcaster and has held the position of Home Editor for BBC News since 2004. He presented the BBC2 series The Happiness Formula which was broadcast in Spring 2005. Mark started his career at the BBC as a reporter on London Plus in 1986. He later moved to Breakfast News and then on to Newsnight in 1989. In 1996 he joined ITN as Political Editor of Channel Five News, moving to work for Channel 4 in 1999. He has made a number of documentaries for Channel 4, and his work was also included in the entry which won the Emmy Award for International News in 2003.
