Biography

Ruth B. Mandel is Director of the Eagleton Institute of Politics at Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey. She has been a professor at the Institute for many years, and in 1994 was named Board of Governors Professor of Politics at Rutgers. From 1971 though 1994, Professor Mandel served as Director of Eagleton's Center for American Women and Politics (CAWP), where she remains affiliated as a Senior Scholar.
