Chairman, Blum Capitol Partners, LP Mr. Blum currently serves as a director on a number of boards, including CB Richard Ellis (Chairman) and Newbridge Capital (Co-Chairman). He is a Director Emeritus of Northwest Airlines Corporation and a former director of Glenborough Realty Trust, Inc., Korea First Bank and the following public companies: URS Corporation, Playtex Products, Inc., National Education Corporation, Taft Broadcasting Corporation, Advanced Systems, Inc., Triad Systems, Inc., Shaklee Corporation, Sumitomo Bank of California and the Princeville Development Corporation. Mr. Blum is the founder and Chairman of the American Himalayan Foundation and is Honorary Consul to the Kingdom of Nepal. In addition, Mr. Blum serves on the Board of Regents of the University of California and is a member of the Advisory Board of the Business School at UC Berkeley. Mr. Blum has a B.A. and an MBA from the University of California at Berkeley.
