Biography

Sir John Major, KG, CH is the former Prime Minister of the United Kingdom from 1990 - 1997. He was also a member of the Cabinets of Margaret Thatcher as Chief Secretary to the Treasury, Foreign Secretary and Chancellor of the Exchequer. He retired from the House of Commons at the 2001 general election.
