About this series

Although he took the oath of office only weeks ago, President Obama has already been compared to the likes of Lincoln and Roosevelt. These comparisons began on the campaign trail and will follow him as he tries to lead the country out of the economic crisis and towards prosperity. But even the greatest American presidents have never been perfect. Only by examining and de-mythologizing them can we fully understand these leaders.
