As a member of the World Affairs Councils of America, the World Affairs Council of Connecticut is part of the largest international affairs nonprofit in the United States.
The Council brings world-renowned speakers to Connecticut to address international topics of interest and plays an important leadership role in the promotion of international education across the state.
Council programs and activities include business luncheons, panel discussions, lecture series, public forums, Department of State Town Meetings, and international cultural events. The Council also sponsors and coordinates the Model United Nations program for Connecticut high school students and study tours abroad for state educators.
