About the position
Seeking two Sales Development Representatives to identify and prospect new sales opportunities related to high-end conferences and events. This is an ideal position for someone interested in online video and in beginning a career in sales and business development.
Responsibilities:

  • Prospect and qualify conference and event organizers using phone outreach, email and internet research
  • Track all lead activity, monitor leads/opportunities, and manage reports using Salesforce.com
  • Engage with prospects to quickly ascertain their strategy, needs and goals related to online video
  • Understand and clearly communicate FORA.tv’s video production and service offerings for the conference and event industry
  • Work as part of our inside sales team to learn best practices and to continuously improve our messaging, outreach, and sales processes
  • Monitor industry trends and keep abreast of developments in online video marketplace

Requirements:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage prospects over the phone
  • Persistent, results-oriented approach to generating and qualifying leads
  • Experience using Microsoft Office applications, Google applications, Saleforce.com, ClearSlide, and/or other CRM applications
  • Interest in online video, conference and event industry, start-ups, new media and the dissemination of big ideas
  • 1+ year of sales experience in an inside sales/demand generation role
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
