FORA.tv is searching for an energetic and creative Inside Sales Representative to sell Event Partnerships. FORA.tv is the leading website for video programs from the world's best conferences and events.

Our Mission: To help event organizers like the New York Times, Aspen Ideas Festival and the Economist reach larger audiences and increase revenues from live streams, pay-per-view sales, and sponsorships.

You will help shape the future of FORA.tv by closing new event partnerships and expanding the breadth of our video offerings to millions of people worldwide. Responsibilities:
  • Find, research, and qualify leads: Use your phone and email skills to generate interest from conference and event organizers in working with FORA.tv to produce, distribute and monetize videos of their events.
  • Develop a strong pipeline of prospects and then close them.
  • Work closely with existing and new event partners to service their needs for everything from video production to live streaming to pay-per-view sales.
  • Prepare event performance reports and post-event analysis for event partners.
  • In collaboration with the Marketing team, develop and implement strategies for pay-per-view sales to increase revenues.
  • Communicate partner feedback on product initiatives, provide input on product iterations.
  • Work effectively in cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, video production, engineering, and operations.
Requirements:
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales goals and quotas.
  • Superior written and verbal communication; Experience with Salesforce.com, Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Google docs.
  • Active contacts within conference and events industry, at universities, think tanks, and public forums a plus.
  • 2+ years relevant sales experience.
  • Experience with cold calling is a must.
