FORA.tv Studios, producers of original, compelling video programs, today announced the debut of the video “Breaking the Drug Taboo,” featuring an interview with Sir Richard Branson, founder of the Virgin Group, on the current state of the war on drugs and the business case for legalizing marijuana. The video is the second installment in the FORA.tv Studios original video series “Pot Goes Public.”
As a member of the Global Commission on Drug Policy, Sir Richard Branson has emerged as a proponent for alternative strategies to the tactics used in the current war on drugs. In conversation with Michael Montgomery, reporter and producer at The Center for Investigative Reporting and KQED Public Radio, Sir Richard asserts his belief that legalization of marijuana in the United States would be a good move for businesses and governments that would provide a major source of tax revenue.
