The Creativity Conference is presented by the Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA), Microsoft and TIME
. Held on the eve of the annual White House Correspondents' Dinner on Friday, April 26, 2013, the conference is a one-of-a-kind event convening leaders from the world of politics, media, business and the arts to engage in direct dialogue on the role creativity plays in our economy and in creating the workforce of the future.
While policy issues affecting and incentivizing creativity are a central part of the conversation, the significance of the Creativity Conference extends well beyond a set of policy discussions. It is a mediated conversation between and among the most important creators and innovators of our time - from all parts of society and the economy - about the interaction between and among major sectors devoted to spurring growth and opportunity based on creativity.
