About this Conference

he fourth annual Logan Symposium, April 16 – 18, 2010, the Investigative Reporting Program’s [IRP] annual ‘invite only’ conclave, brought together almost 300 of the nation’s top investigative reporters, editors, producers, media lawyers and industry executives to discuss the state of investigative reporting. Despite years of cuts to newsrooms around the nation, many speakers found optimism in the emergence of new collaborations, nonprofit models for investigative reporting and the recent Pulitzer Prize awarded to ProPublica.
