Starts Tonight: Harry Belafonte Streaming Live from The New York Public Library on FORA.tv

FORA.tv, the leading online destination for video programs from the world's best conferences and events, today announced a live event occurring tonight featuring celebrated American singer, songwriter, actor and social activist Harry Belafonte. Belafonte will join in conversation with Paul Holdengraber live from the New York Public Library starting this Wednesday, October 12, 2011 at 7:00pm EDT on FORA.tv (http://fora.tv/live/nypl/harry_belafonte).

Belafonte will talk about his new memoir, 'My Song', in which he traces his journey from Jamaica and Harlem to the world stage, as well as his friendships with such luminaries as Martin Luther King, Jr., John F. Kennedy, Nelson Mandela and Marlon Brando.

FORA.tv will present this live video broadcast in partnership with the New York Public Library’s 'LIVE from the NYPL' public programs. Curated by director Paul Holdengräber, 'LIVE from the NYPL' offers provocative conversations, real debates, and inspiring conversations.
