SAN FRANCISCO, CA –SEPTEMBER 20, 2010 – FORA.tv, the Web’s leading site for videos about the people, issues, and ideas changing the world, today announced that it will offer online subscriptions to LIVE from the NYPL's Fall 2010 Season. The opening night event features Justice Stephen Breyer in conversation with Jeffrey Rosen of The Atlantic and LIVE from NYPL curator Paul Holdengräber. The event begins at 7 pm EDT, September 20 and can be viewed live, as it happens on FORA.tv for $4.95.
LIVE from the NYPL is Cognitive Theater, with a mission to provoke, engage, enlighten, instigate and agitate the mind. LIVE is: provocative conversations, real debates, irresistible performances, original ideas. Justice Breyer, Rosen and Holdengräber will gather for a conversation about Breyer's new book, Making Our Democracy Work: A Judge's View. Together, they will examine what the Court must do to maintain public confidence and discuss the ten books that shaped Breyer’s intellectual persona.
