Pippa Shirley is Head of Collections at Waddesdon Manor in Buckinghamshire. She has particular responsibility for the Rothschild Collection. Her research interests include the history of dining, silver production, the history of collecting, the Rothschilds as collectors, and nineteenth-century interiors
