Miki Berardelli
Since joining Tory Burch as Chief Marketing Officer in 2009, Miki Berardelli has been responsible for global marketing, public relations, CRM, and e-commerce.
Prior to joining Tory Burch, Ms. Berardelli was Senior Vice President of Marketing at Ralph Lauren, where she spent nearly eight years developing and leading multichannel marketing strategy for the retail businesses.
Earlier in her career, Ms. Berardelli held positions at
Limited Too/Tween Brands, Experian North America,
and McMillan Associates.Ms. Berardelli is actively involved in Shop.org, the digital division of the National Retail Federation, where she is currently serving her third term on the board of directors as Chairman. In 2011, she also joined the board of directors for Giggle Inc., a multichannel baby products and lifestyle retail brand.
Ms. Berardelli earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Iowa and a master’s degree from Northwestern University. She was recognized in 2011 as one of the “Top Women in Cross-Channel Retail.”
Matthew Berglass
Matthew Berglass is President of Berglass+Associates, an executive search firm serving the retail industry in both the traditional brick-and-mortar and pure-play digital spaces.
Since joining the firm in 1994, Mr. Berglass has focused
on helping retail, wholesale, and digital/direct companies
evolve into omnichannel brands through his recruiting
efforts. With such notable placements as Sharen Turney
as Chief Executive Officer of Victoria’s Secret Direct and
Michael MacDonald as Chief Executive Officer of DSW,
Mr. Berglass has demonstrated his expertise in matching
executive talent with brands and retailers poised for growth.
Prior to joining Berglass+Associates, Mr. Berglass spent
five years at Liz Claiborne Inc., where he participated in
the Careers in Management executive training program.
Following that, he served as a sales and marketing executive for two of the company’s divisions—Women’s Sportswear Collection and LizWear Casual Denim.
Outside of the office, Mr. Berglass is a registered USA
Boxing Amateur competitor. His passion for giving back
has included working with the not-for-profit educational
support organization A Better Chance, an organization
that encourages the development of young and
underprivileged athletes engaged in the sport of boxing.
Michael Burgess
Michael Burgess is President of Saks Direct, the online
channel of Saks Fifth Avenue. Saks Fifth Avenue is renowned as an arbiter of modern style, offering the finest designer collections for men and women, as well as accessories, cosmetics, and gifts.
Previously, Mr. Burgess served as Executive Vice President of the Consumer Division of FTD, and prior to that as Vice President and General Manager, Internet Business, of Teleflora—both leaders in the online floral and gifting category.
He began his business career at McKinsey and Company, where he led and served on teams providing strategic management services to several Global 500 companies in a variety of industries.
Mr. Burgess earned his bachelor of commerce in finance and his bachelor of laws from the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia. He received his M.B.A. from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
