Miki Berardelli
Since joining Tory Burch as Chief Marketing Officer in 2009, Miki Berardelli has been responsible for global marketing, public relations, CRM, and e-commerce.
Prior to joining Tory Burch, Ms. Berardelli was Senior Vice President of Marketing at Ralph Lauren, where she spent nearly eight years developing and leading multichannel marketing strategy for the retail businesses.
Earlier in her career, Ms. Berardelli held positions at
Limited Too/Tween Brands, Experian North America,
and McMillan Associates.Ms. Berardelli is actively involved in Shop.org, the digital division of the National Retail Federation, where she is currently serving her third term on the board of directors as Chairman. In 2011, she also joined the board of directors for Giggle Inc., a multichannel baby products and lifestyle retail brand.
Ms. Berardelli earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Iowa and a master’s degree from Northwestern University. She was recognized in 2011 as one of the “Top Women in Cross-Channel Retail.”
Wendy Liebmann
Wendy Liebmann is recognized as one of the innovators of shopper insights. In 1986, she founded WSL/Strategic Retail to “get marketers out of their ivory towers to meet their shoppers on the selling floor,” whether that floor is real or virtual.
Ms. Liebmann and WSL/Strategic Retail are recognized for their ability to help clients build innovative retail strategies by understanding what influences how people shop in the United States and around the world—and how to utilize that understanding to drive innovation at retail.
Since 1989, WSL/Strategic Retail has published How America Shops, an ongoing nationwide survey that tracks shoppers’ mood, mindset, and behavior to predict evolving shopper behaviors and where retail is headed.
Ms. Liebmann is frequently called upon by the media to
provide insight into the state of retail and shopping.
She is a recognized speaker, regularly addressing business and educational organizations around the world.
Ms. Liebmann holds a degree in business and psychology from the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia.
Jake Nickell
Jake Nickell is Threadless.com’s young and fearless
entrepreneurial leader. He has a passion for learning new things, from how to get t-shirts made to how to design and program an e-commerce website.
Currently, Mr. Nickell is focused on running the successful, worldwide business that Threadless has become. He likes to think creatively and unconventionally about how to keep Threadless one step ahead by encouraging nutty employee ideas and staying away from the “business” side of running a business.
Mr. Nickell continues to keep up his geek cred through his love of programming. When he’s not working, he is busy hanging out with his wife Shondi, daughter Arli, and son Dash.
