Elizabeth Baker Keffer
Elizabeth Keffer is Vice President of The Atlantic and President of Atlantic LIVE. As President of Atlantic Live, the events arm of The Atlantic, she oversees events ranging from small, private "Salon Dinners," to larger panel discussions and Town Hall gatherings, to The Atlantic's Aspen Ideas Festival. She was the company's lead executive in creating the Atlantic/Aspen Institute partnership, producing the Aspen Ideas Festival and the Aspen Health Forum.
Previously, Elizabeth served as the publisher of The Atlantic and Executive Vice President, Atlantic Media Group, where she oversaw advertising, marketing and corporate partnerships at The Atlantic, National Journal, Congress Daily and Government Executive. During this period, she led the formation of two key partnerships: Washington Week with Gwen Ifill and National Journal, and the National Journal-MSNBC politics partnership.
Elizabeth graduated from Brown University and has completed executive programs in sales force management at the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and in finance at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
Ronald Brownstein
Ronald Brownstein is political director of the Atlantic Media Company and National Journal Group’s editorial director, in charge of long-term editorial strategy. He also writes a weekly column and regularly contributes other pieces for both National Journal and The Atlantic, and he coordinates political coverage and activities across publications produced by Atlantic Media. Brownstein was twice named a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize for his coverage of the 1996 and 2004 presidential campaigns. In addition, he is the recipient of several journalism awards, including the Exceptional Merit in Media Award from the National Women’s Political Caucus, the Excellence in Media Award from the National Council on Public Polls in 2005, and the Journalist of the Year Award from the Los Angeles Press Club in 2005. In 2007, the American Political Science Association presented him its Carey McWilliams Award for lifetime achievement.
Ed Reilly
Throughout his career, Mr. Reilly has provided strategic counsel to clients facing a wide variety of complex issues, focusing particularly on the associated communications challenges. He has led a myriad of innovative communications programs that have advanced the business objectives of his clients in many different industries, including energy, telecommunications, healthcare, financial services and transportation.
Mr. Reilly is a nationally-recognized communications strategist and business consultant. Adept at identifying the full dimensions of a complicated problem, Mr. Reilly leads teams of consultants in developing a clear communications strategy and mounting multi-disciplinary campaigns to protect and enhance clients’ enterprise value. His extensive background in both political campaign management and attitudinal research makes him particularly suited to solve strategic complex communications assignments.
Before becoming global CEO, Mr. Reilly served as the practice’s President and CEO in the Americas. He was also head of the practice's Strategy Consulting & Research team, a specialized offering focused on solving communications challenges through research, analysis and strategic consulting.
Before joining FTI Consulting, Mr. Reilly was founder and CEO of Westhill Partners, a leading communications consulting firm.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Reilly served as a campaign advisor to prominent public officials throughout the United States and the developing world, overseeing a number of public opinion studies that informed communications campaigns.
