Courtney Buechert
Courtney Buechert is CEO of Eleven Inc. A second-generation advertising San Franciscan, Courtney has worked at a number of the city’s most admired agencies. He started his career at Young & Rubicam and has held senior leadership positions at Goodby, Silverstein & Partners; Anderson & Lembke; and Leagas Delaney. In 2001, Courtney became the executive vice president and general manager at McCann Erickson. He grew the San Francisco office from a medium-size ad shop to a global communications firm with 700 people doing business in 40 countries across a number of disciplines for clients such as Microsoft and Hewlett-Packard.
Kat Gordon
Kat Gordon is the founder of The 3% Conference and founder and creative director of Maternal Instinct, an agency dedicated to marketing to mothers. Her agency’s proprietary product, the MBA Program (Mom Brand Audit), is a deep dive into every aspect of a brand’s marketing — web, email, print, social media, positioning — resulting in a guide map of specific ways to up the mom-friendliness of a brand.
Prior to launching her own agency, Kat worked as a senior copywriter at Hal Riney & Partners and Andersen Lembke, winning numerous awards for her campaigns for Saturn, Microsoft, and Target. She is passionate about excellence in marketing to women and has spoken on the topic at The 140 Conference, Savor the Success, APNA, Mom 2.0 Summit, and Rock the World.
Thomas J. Jordan
Thomas J Jordan is co-founder of T-J Communications, an independent marketing company in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He is the former Chairman and Chief Creative Officer of HY Connect, an independent, fully-integrated communications firm with offices in Chicago and Milwaukee. He is also the author of several books: "What’s a Saatchi and How Come We Have Two of Them?" (Graphis 2002); "Re-Render the Gender" (BookSurge 2009); co-author of "PurseStrings. New, Proven Ways of Reaching the Hearts and Minds of Female Consumers" (CreateSpace 2011); as well as contributing author of "Lessons on Profiting from Diversity" (MacMillan UK 2012).
Recognized in 2010 by his alma mater, Kent State University, Tom was honored for his many achievements in marketing and communications as Alumnus of the Year. Tom is a frequent guest speaker at conferences and universities, sharing research and insight on marketing to women. In addition, he has won numerous international creative awards, including prestigious “Lions” from the Cannes Advertising Festival.
