Arthur Orduna
Arthur Orduna is presently Chief Technology Officer, Canoe Ventures, LLC.
Arthur Orduna manages the engineering and technology team for Canoe Ventures. He helps drive the creation of shared technology processes and standards for more robust audience targeting, interactivity and measurement. For more than 20 years, Arthur has worked in the media and interactive TV industries where he has helped develop critical initiatives with standard bodies, industry organizations and providers. He is an active member of SCTE, chaired the CableLabs Working Group, which developed the EBIF technical specification for enhanced television, and is a long-term advocate of open standards-based technologies and other cross-MSO projects. Before Canoe Ventures, Arthur was a Senior Vice President at Bright House Networks where he was responsible for leading the development of new technology-based products and services for video, high speed data, voice and wireless. In 2009, Arthur received the Individual Leadership Award of the 6th Annual Awards for Leadership in Interactive and Multiplatform Television, which were presented at The TV of Tomorrow Show. This award is given to "an individual who demonstrated notable leadership in the interactive, multiplatform TV industry over the past year, and whose efforts helped move that industry forward." He is also a member of NAMIC and CTAM, from which he received a Rainmaker Award in 2005.
John Williamson
John Williamson serves as Senior Vice President and General Manager of Comcast.com, responsible for the company’s digital sales and service activities. Mr. Williamson joined Comcast from Verizon where he was Vice President, e-Commerce & Digital CRM, responsible for managing online sales and customer support for the company—including driving new customer acquisition, increased utilization of the company's digital self-service tools, and cross-selling of services through the company’s digital platforms. Prior to Verizon, Mr. Williamson was with J.P. Morgan following its acquisition of Bear, Stearns & Co. At Bear Stearns Mr. Williamson was Senior Managing Director of e-Commerce. In this role, he was responsible globally for the on-line product offerings for the firm's retail and institutional customers. During his tenure, the firm was recognized on numerous occasions for its industry leading e-Commerce products and experiences. Mr. Williamson joined Bear Stearns from Citigroup where he was Vice President and Global Product Head for e-Investments. In this role, he was responsible for the growth of Citigroup’s on-line brokerage and investment businesses in 12 non-U.S. markets and led the development and launch of the its U.S. self-directed brokerage Cititrade. Cititrade was consistently recognized by a #1 ranking from Smart Money for its strong suite of planning tools and on-line experience. Mr. Williamson has published several articles in major publications including the American Banker and Financial Services On-line regarding opportunities for applying e-Commerce for competitive advantage. Additionally, Mr. Williamson has also been a guest lecturer at Columbia Business School. Mr. Williamson is a native of North Carolina and received his Bachelors in Economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and MBA from Columbia Business School.
