Chris Allen
In his role at SMGx--which empowers SMG’s agencies to exchange intelligence, test new models and leverage scale to drive marketplace and measurement efficiencies--Chris Allen is at the forefront of developing a video trading platform that will take advantage of advanced audience data to more efficiently and effectively connect advertisers' messages with consumers. Fortified by a strong background in national broadcast buying, he continues to make great strides in advancing an exceptionally progressive industry.
Jonathan Epstein
Jonathan Epstein leads companies at the intersection of media and technology. At Omek, Jonathan manages all partnerships, sales and marketing of the company’s gesture recognition technology. Previously, he served as CEO of in-game advertising firm Double Fusion, and helped establish the digital media and gaming practice at UTA. He was a Co-Founder of GameSpot and president of GameSpy, where he ran the company’s media division before its sale to Fox. Jonathan holds a degree in physical sciences from Harvard.
Jeff Siegel
Jeff Siegel joined Rovi Corporation in October of 2010 as Senior Vice President, Worldwide Advertising, bringing almost 20 years of experience at all levels of advertising sales. Prior to Rovi, Jeff was at Ensequence – The Interactive Video Company, where he built out the programmer, distributor and advertising sales efforts. Previous to this, Jeff spent a total of 13 years at ESPN. He graduated with a Bbachelor of Science in Business Administration from John Carroll University in Cleveland, OH.
Michael Strober
Michael Strober is Senior Vvice President of Turner Entertainment Ad Sales. Promoted last month from his previous role as Vice President, Turner Entertainment Ad Sales & Emerging Ad Platforms, he has worked closely on investigating advertising opportunities for TBS and TNT around Automatic Content Recognition (ACR) and connected TV technology. Most recently he worked with AT&T on their launch partnership around the Team Coco tablet app. Presented by AT&T, the app uses ACR technology to provide Conan’s hyper-connected fans with exclusive, synchronized content delivered in real time.
Frans Vermeulen
Frans Vermeulen has been with FreeWheel for more than four years and currently serves as Senior Vice President of Revenue and Strategy. He is focused on aligning company revenue with that of its enterprise-class entertainment customers by delivering profitable revenue models and strategies for current and future products and driving additional value through advisory services. Prior to joining FreeWheel, Frans held key management and director-level positions at aCerno (acquired by Akamai in 2008), Cendant, and DoubleClick (now Google).
