Summary: The Fab@Home has been at the fore-front of personal manufacturing. The project is now preparing to rapidly expand the scope of what can be manufactured at home with the Model 3 fabber and the Fab@School efforts.

Hod Lipson
In 2001 Hod Lipson joined the departments of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering and the faculty of Computing & Information Science of Cornell University in Ithaca, NY. He is also a member of the Computer Science and Computational Biology graduate fields at Cornell. Prior to this appointment, he was a postdoctoral researcher at Brandeis University's Computer Science Department and a Lecturer at MIT's Mechanical Engineering Department. He received his PhD in 1998 from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology. Before joining academia, he spent several years as a research engineer in the mechanical, electronic and software industries.

Jeffrey Lipton
Jeffrey has been with the Fab@Home team since the launch of the model 2 redesign. He is a PhD Student in the Cornell Creative Machines Lab where he reseachers applications and techniques for 3d printing.

Jeffrey Lipton

Jason Yosinski

Jason Yosinski is currently a Ph.D. student in Computer Science at Cornell, where he studies computers and brains. Some of his recent research has been on learning quadruped robot gaits with the Cornell Creative Machines Lab.
