Sam Fouad
Sam Fouad is Ernst & Young's Americas emerging markets leader, based in New York City. From 2003 to 2011, Foaud was a member of the global executive and senior global leadership teams. He was global managing partner of people from 2008 to 2011, leading overall human resources strategy and operations for Ernst & Young's more than 144,000 employees. He was global vice chair of tax services from 2003 to 2008, leading overall strategy and operations of EY Tax Services, a group with revenues of more than $6 billion worldwide. Prior to 2003, Fouad held various tax leadership and client service roles including director of Latin American tax and legal services (in Buenos Aires and Sao Paulo) and international tax services leader (in New York and Philadelphia). Fouad has received repeated industry recognition as a leading US, Latin America, and global tax and legal advisor.
William E. Mayer
William E. Mayer is chairman emeritus of the Aspen Institute. He is a partner of Park Avenue Equity Partners, which is a private equity firm he founded in 1999. From 1992 to 1996, Mayer was a professor and dean of the College of Business and Management at the University of Maryland. During his tenure, he organized and led an effort that significantly improved the school's programs and it became one of the top 25 ranked business schools in the country. From 1991 to 1992, Mayer served as a professor and dean of the Simon Graduate School of Business at the University of Rochester. Mayer worked for The First Boston Corporation (now Credit Suisse), a major investment bank, for 23 years. During his career at First Boston, he held numerous management positions including president and CEO. He is the US chairman of the British-North American Committee and serves on the board of many public companies.
Nicolas Rohatyn
Nicolas Rohatyn is partner, CEO, and chief investment officer of The Rohatyn Group. Based in New York, he oversees overall strategy and management of the firm. Previously, Rohatyn was at J. P. Morgan for 19 years, where he held a variety of leadership positions in emerging markets, foreign exchange, commodities, credit markets, and e-commerce functions. He served as a member of J. P. Morgan’s executive management team for five years. As managing director and head of emerging markets sales, trading, and research, Rohatyn built and restructured the division from a loan-based business to an integrated and diversified sales, trading, and capital markets effort. During his tenure there, J. P. Morgan established its widely acknowledged leadership position in emerging markets securities distribution, trading, and research. Rohatyn was a founder and former chairman of the Emerging Markets Traders Association.
