Kevin Johnson

Kevin Johnson is chief executive officer of Juniper Networks, the innovation leader in high-performance network infrastructure. Committed to transforming the experience and economics of networking through powerful, integrated software platforms, Johnson and his team have led the company to steady market share gains in both the enterprise and service provider sectors. Juniper was recently named to Fortune's list of the 100 Best Companies to Work For and in March was recognized by the Ethisphere Institute as one of the World's Most Ethical Firms.

Prior to joining Juniper Networks in 2008, Johnson was president of Microsoft's Platforms and Services Division, where he headed the Windows and online services businesses. Before that, he was group vice president of worldwide sales, marketing, and services at Microsoft. He began his career as a software developer at IBM.

Johnson is a board member of Starbucks Coffee Company and has served on the boards of several nonprofits focused on technology and the career advancement of women. He was appointed by President Bush to the National Security Telecommunications Advisory Committee.
