Michael Heffner

Michael Heffner has recently joined Tekelec as the Director of Product Management for Monitoring and Services. In this role, he is responsible for driving the future growth of Tekelec's Performance Management products. Heffner brings with him over 15 years of telecommunications experience serving in various roles ranging from R&D, Systems Engineering, Consulting and Product Management.

Prior to joining Tekelec, Heffner was at Tektronix and was responsible for Product Management of their Unified Assurance solutions. Prior to that, Heffner had served in many positions at large network element manufacturers such as Nortel and Motorola as well as being the Chief Architect at a small start-up in which he was a co-founder. Heffner holds a Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace Engineering from Texas A&M University, USA.
