If you want to know the truth of Thatcher simply think the opposite to everything that you’ve just listened to. She is simply a joke. Come the UK and ask a working person about Thatcher. The reference to the miners strike being a communist revolution is a laugh. She fails to mention the towns and communities across the UK that were crushed and remain in tatters from breaking the unions. Maybe she got her doctorate from the Oxford internet website for £1.99 download. Pathetic.

Cannot compare Obama and Thatcher...yes you can, and I say that between both Bush and Obama, they're doing a great job with radical islam. How more can any U.S. President do, but mellow-out radical islam. By the way seven cats...you'll end like Margaret.

You are kidding me, right? The Union of mineworkers trying to make UK communist? Who is this child? Uncommon knowledge indeed. This is a perverse re framing of British History. I guess its easy to get a doctorate from Oxford these days.

History will look on Thatcher as a 19th century liberal and not a conservative and that she was in power for far, far too long. However, what can't be ignored is she never broke from her roots - she was a grocers daughter that ran the country like a grocers shop - the only problem was that Europe was full of hypermarkets!

very good program even if i don't agree with at least half of the opinions. thatcher/reagan is an odd comparison. reagan won the cold war, and that weighs heavily in any argument against him in my eyes, but the modern right wing american political landscape of bigotry and ignorance found it's start in the reagan era.

Ahh, yes the old liberal stand. Instead of refuting my points you instead attack the intelligence of the people who disagree with you. Well that is what happens when your ideas can't be logically reasoned out. Wow. Debt never comes from lowering taxes. Debt comes from spending more than you take in. Its that simple. Also the top bracket already pays most of the taxes in the US. Taxing them more will either make them leave or have the figure out ways to "make" less money. Look at states like NY and California. They are in trouble because all of the wealthy are moving away to lower taxed states. If you don't think the same thing doesn't happen on a national scale than I can't help you.

I guess his foreign policy worked too. So much so that Obama is doing the exact same thing... Huh.
