Dr. Fatih Birol
Fatih Birol is chief economist and head of the economic analysis division of the Paris-based International Energy Agency. Dr. Birol also serves as the organizer and director of the World Energy Outlook series, the IEA's flagship publication.
In June 2005, he received the International Association of Energy Economics' Outstanding Contributions to the Profession Award and in October 2006 was made a Chevalier dans l'ordre des Palmes Academique by the French Government in recognition of his distinguished services to the field of energy economics.
Robert Hormats
Robert D. Hormats is under secretary for Economic, Energy, and Agricultural Affairs in the U.S. Department of State. Prior to his appointment in 2009, Hormats was vice chairman of Goldman Sachs International and a managing director of Goldman Sachs & Co. Hormats has served as US assistant secretary of state for economic and business affairs, ambassador and deputy US trade representative, and senior deputy assistant secretary for economic and business affairs at the Department of State.
He was a senior staff member on the National Security Council from 1969 to 1977, where he was senior economic advisor to Henry Kissinger, Brent Scowcroft, and Zbigniew Brzezinski. He was a recipient of the French Legion of Honor and Arthur Fleming Award. He is also a member of the Council on Foreign Relations. Hormats is the author of several books including The Price of Liberty.
Lars G. Josefsson
Lars G. Josefsson has been President and CEO of Vattenfall since August 2000. Under his leadership, Vattenfall has dynamically established itself as a northern European energy group, with a strong base also in Germany and Poland.
Before joining Vattenfall, he worked for Ericsson in a number of executive posts, including a four-year period in charge of operations in Austria. From 1997, he was President and CEO of Celsius, which he led up to the 1999/2000 turn of the year, when Celsius became part of the Saab Group.
James P. Leape
James P. Leape is the Director General of World Wildlife Fund International. He has worked in conservation for more than 3 decades.
A graduate of Harvard College and Harvard Law School, Leape began his career as an environmental lawyer - bringing environmental protection cases in the United States, advising the United Nations Environment Programme in Nairobi, Kenya, and co-authoring the leading American text on environmental law.
Leape first joined WWF in the US in 1989, and for 10 years led their conservation programmes around the world, serving as Executive Vice President. In that role, he helped shape the global strategy of the WWF Network and represented WWF in many international fora.
From 2001 to 2005, he directed the conservation and science initiatives of the David and Lucile Packard Foundation, one of the largest philanthropies in the US.
Dr. Armen Sarkissian
Dr. Armen Sarkissian is founding President of Eurasia House International in London, which fosters critical dialogue and cooperation among political and business leaders and is involved in bridge building between the West and the vast geographic space extending from Eastern Europe to Russia, to CIS and China.
He is Director of the Eurasia Programme at the Judge Business School, Cambridge University, with expertise in state-building structures and free market transition processes.

Shri Anand Sharma, a politician from Indian National Congress party, is a Member of the Parliament of India representing Himachal Pradesh in the Rajya Sabha, the upper house of the Indian Parliament.
