ICIR research scientist Christian Kreibich presents a study on Internet spam. He describes his team's infiltration of the famous "Storm" botnet, documenting its success rates as well as ways to protect users from it.

Christian Kreibich
Christian Kreibich received his B.S. in Computer Science in 2002, from TUM. He then completed the Ph.D. program at the University of Cambridge Computer Laboratory.
Kreibich then moved onto ICIR, where he is a staff research scientist. His research focuses on topics in network architecture, distributed systems, and network security.
