From 1997 until 2001, Purdum was the Los Angeles bureau chief. He also held the positions of metropolitan reporter and city-hall bureau chief in New York.
Tina Brown compares the intellectual insecurities in the personalities of Princess Diana and Sarah Palin.
Brown sees an opportunity for Palin to demonstrate her emotional intelligence by campaigning for special needs children just as Diana worked to promote AIDS awareness.
(born July 1, 1961, Sandringham, Norfolk, Eng.died Aug. 31, 1997, Paris, France) Consort (198196) of Charles, prince of Wales. Daughter of Viscount Althorp (later Earl Spencer), she was a kindergarten teacher at the time of her engagement to Charles, whom she married on July 29, 1981, in a globally televised ceremony. They had two sons, Princes William (1982) and Henry (1984). Her beauty and unprecedented popularity as a member of the royal family attracted intense press attention, and she became one of the most photographed women in the world. The marriage gradually broke down; Charles and Diana separated in 1992 and were divorced in 1996. She remained highly visible and continued her activities on behalf of numerous charities. In 1997 she was killed in a car crash in Paris, along with her companion, Emad Mohamed (Dodi) al-Fayed (195597), and their driver. Her death brought on a massive public outpouring of grief.

Really? Filled with emotion I see. Sarah really gets into people's heads and pisses them off. I'll just ask you get down from your Ivory Tower and walk among the masses. Besides I don't want a leader to feel my pain. I want a leader who will stand up for my rights.

Isn't that the same thing people said about Bush? "He is an idiot." "He can never win." Funny how he won twice.

What a strange way to judge a potential leader. The reason Diana had to campaign against land mines is she was a figure head, not a leader. A leader doesn't have to campaign against them, they just don't use them or destroy them where they find them.

If you can't see that she dismissed her in the video above, then I can't help you.
"yet another liberal who merely dismisses her." Really doesn't that make you yet another conservative who merely dismisses the speaker because she disagrees with you? You have to understand that these people are the professionals here, and while i'm not saying all reports on anyone are ever always accurate, i AM saying that whatever you do for a living (let's pretend you're a computer engineer) i doubt that you'd feel happy about someone like myself who cannot program code at all criticizing your work without proving that i was correct in my assessment. so the point of my reply is this: PROVE IT. Please link to articles that show specific examples as to HOW she is wrong. Saying so isn't enough, you should prove that what you say is right.
This lady has no clue on Sarah Palin. Yet another liberal who merely dismisses her. Tries to redeem herself at the end, but it still shows her ignorance.
