Bio

Lucinda Holdforth

Lucinda Holdforth lives in Sydney with her husband. Her first book, True Pleasures: A Memoir of Women in Paris, was published in Australia in 2004 and North America in 2005. Her latest book is Why Manners Matter: The Case for Civilised Behaviour in a Barbarous World.

Malcolm Knox

Malcolm Knox is the author of ten books including the novels Summerland, A Private Man and, most recently, Jamaica, winner of the Colin Roderick Award and shortlisted for the inaugural Prime Minister's Literary Award. His fiction has been published around the world. Journalist, literary editor with the Sydney Morning Herald and winner of Walkley awards for journalism in 2004 and 2007, he is also a board member of the Copyright Agency Limited.
