why didnt the children help mother out of poverty? if the earned those degrees on the back of their mom why is mom still there?

I was really moved by the love filled in xinran's speech, and especially the part about what actually built up China, and the part of the Tibetan story..."only light can drive away darkness, but what is light? Where does it come from?" this is a very good question for us in life
