Programs for Teens in Crisis

There may be various causes and issues behind the aggressive nature of teenagers. Teens in crisis need mental support and extended care. Pre teen sexual abuse, teen pregnancy, drug alcohol abuse, ADD, ADHD and other psychological disorders cause depression and mental trauma. Wilderness therapy programs are appropriate for the struggling adolescents to overcome emotional and behavioral problems.

Just finished watching and thought it was pretty compelling. Not really hearing something I didn't already know. Still, I thought it was interesting that Dr. Hinshaw found overwhelming evidence of this phenomenon which prompted him to continue with his investigation into this emerging crisis amongst girls. It's absolutely heartbreaking that young ladies feel societal pressures at such an early age and nothing is being done about it. Thanks for studying the problem and attempting to bring it to light for parents, educators and society to consider.

This makes so much sense. I hadn't thought about how most female athletic stars are also models or are pursuing success in some other area as well. hmmmm
