Steve Cohen - Steve Cohen is a successful entrepreneur and bestselling, award-winning author and publisher. He was President/CEO of the start-up healthcare company Living Independently Group and the founder/CEO of 4to14/BrainQuest, an internet education company for children and parents.
Cohen co-chaired the White House task force Prescription for Reading Partnership for Hillary Clinton, and serves on the National Board of the pediatric literacy group, Reach Out and Read. He is the author of five books and numerous articles. He was educated at the U.S. Naval Academy, received his B.A. from Brown University and did graduate work on a full fellowship at the Graduate School of Public Policy at the University of California, Berkeley. He is an adjunct assistant professor at NYU, taught in the MBA program at Fordham University, and in the Professional Publishing Program at Stanford. He also serves as a Trustee of the United States Naval Institute.
Clifford Schorer - Professor Schorer is a serial entrepreneur who specializes in the start-up acquisition and development of small and mid-sized companies. Schorer focuses on businesses with unique ideas or technologies that are in need of guidance during their initial growth phases.
Schorer has been involved with companies in the high tech arena, his last position being CEO of GeoVideo Networks, a Lucent Technologies Venture. Prior to that his career included businesses in the real estate, office-supply and health care industries. During the early 1990's he spent a considerable amount of time in Russia using his entrepreneurial approach to assist in the privatization process During his extensive professional career, Schorer has lectured in numerous business and academic forums both in the United States and abroad. Schorer has developed financial management software programs for business education through his publishing company Bized.
Ava Seave - Ava Seave is a founder and Principal of Quantum Media, a consulting practice founded in 1998 that specializes in strategy and marketing. Before joining Quantum Media, she worked as a general manager at several media companies including Scholastic Inc. in the school book club division, for The Village Voice and at TVSM, the country's largest cable listings magazine.
Seave is an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Columbia Business School, teaching "Strategic Management of Media.

Recent research includes studies of the matching of VC investors and start-ups, the risk and return of entrepreneurial investments, VCs learning about industries and technologies, the effects of CEO type on deal success, the effects of PE on innovation, and the recent surge in PE activity in emerging markets. Sorensen teaches the elective Entrepreneurial Finance.
Leonard A. Sylk - As founder and former CEO of Shelter Systems, America's largest producer and exporter of component type manufactured housing, Mr. Sylk has experienced and survived four economic recessions.
In addition to his work with Shelter Systems, with Property Management Services, Mr. Sylk, has proven himself as a developer, manager and owner of over one million square feet of industrial parks, and building occupied by over 100 companies.
Mr. Sylk is a graduate of both the Wharton School and Columbia Business school (MBA '65) and has been a member of the National Association of Home Builders, Certified Commercial Property Builders since 1986.
