Aaron Greenwald
Director of Duke Performances since 2006. Before arriving at Duke he studied theater in South Africa on a Fulbright Fellowship. He worked on music videos in Nashville with artists such as the late Waylon Jennings. He was a producer of the New Yorker Festival and the Toyota Comedy Festival.
Immediately before coming to Duke, he spent two years producing programs at the Museum of Jewish Heritage in New York, including a 50th anniversary tribute to the legendary 2nd Ave. Deli with Fyvush Finkel and the Klezmatics, among others.
Shen Wei
Shen Wei is a renowned Chinese choreographer, director, dancer, painter and designer. Shen Wei is recognized for his vision of an intercultural, interdisciplinary, original mode of movement-based performance, and his innovative blend of traditional Chinese opera, dance and music with Western performance art such as ballet.
