It seems that if the AC were turned off above him it would have to be cut off for everybody in the room. Other alternatives could have been to move the podium over a little or for him to put on a coat.hospital bed

I have been mercury poisoned by amalgam fillings and then completely recovered and was symptom-free for 4.5 years.

But fish is not the largest source of mercury in most people who have several amalgam fillings. Amalgam fillings and amalgam under metal crowns have been documented by medical labs and the Gov't as being the largest source in most such people:

I was thinking -- what about cats and cat food? They must eat 10x as much tuna as humans yet are 1/10th the size!

As with most commentators and lectures, the camera guy is a candidate for the Homer-Simpson award. Who just takes a picture of the person talking when they're referencing things off screen? More important is the SLIDE not the persons mouth moving! Hit or miss with directors/ producers/ cameramen... could you pull back for a few seconds? The speaker was knowledgeable and articulate and a credit to the subject.
