John Berger
John Berger is the author of Forests Forever: Their Ecology, Restoration, and Preservation.
Berger holds advanced degrees in energy and natural resources and ecology and works as a consultant specializing in natural resources and the environment.
He has published several books on environmental topics, including Restoring the Earth: How Americans Are Working to Renew Our Damaged Environment (Alfred A. Knopf, 1985; Doubleday Anchor Books, 1987), Charging Ahead: The Business of Renewable Energy and What It Means for America (Henry Holt and Company, 1997), and Beating the Heat: Why and How We Must Combat Global Warming (Berkeley Hills Books, 2000).
Dr. Berger lives in the San Francisco Bay Area.
