Bio
James C. Chapman
James Chapman has focused on securities law, venture capital, mergers and acquisitions, and international business transactions for the past twenty years. Jim has been involved in over 175 mergers, acquisitions, and financing transactions. These transactions have included public offerings, private placements, debt financings, venture capital transactions, stock sales, asset sales, mergers, reorganizations, and recapitalizations.
Jeffrey D. Heller
Jeffrey D. Heller, FAIA, an architect member of the Board since November 2002, practicing architect for 37 years, and is the founder and president of Heller Manus Architects in San Francisco. He currently serves as president of the AIA San Francisco.
He also serves as an advisor and consultant to several San Francisco City planning and design projects including the San Francisco City Planning Department for Urban Design Guidelines. Heller earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He is presently serving on the Board’s Executive Committee, Professional Qualifications Committee and IDP Implementation Task Force.
Kirsten Ritchie
Kirsten Ritchie is Director of Sustainable Design with Gensler. An innovative problem-solver sought by clients to address emerging environmental and sustainability topics within the context of competitive advantage, Kirsten has managed the SCS Environmental Claims Certification Program. She is the Chair of ASTM Task Group on Environmentally Preferable Products, serves on the Technical Advisory Board for Collaborative for High Performance Schools, and is a board member with International Design Center for the Environment.
