Malan Jackson
Malan Jackson established international studies at Utah Valley State College and was the director of the Center for International Studies there for ten years, retiring in 2000. Jackson previously taught international marketing at Brigham Young University. He also spent several years in Hong Kong in banking and business and managed two large businesses in China.
His work in Asia has included organizing and managing many humanitarian projects in China and Mongolia, and he has served as honorary consul for Mongolia for several years. Jackson served as the founding president of the Taiwan Mission (1971-74), having served a three-year mission as a young man in Hong Kong.
