Alex Bigham
Alex Bigham is the Head of Communications & Projects at the Foreign Policy Centre. He is also heads up the FPC's research programmes on Iran, Iraq and Pakistan and has been involved in research on the EU, the Special Relationship, faith and foreign policy and Latin America. He has appeared in the broadcast media, including BBC News 24, Sky News, CNN, 5Live and Voice of America.
Philip Cunliffe
Philip Cunliffe is a PhD student at the Department of War Studies, King's College London. He co-convenes the Sovereignty And Its Discontents (SAID) working group. Educated at Somerville College, Oxford, he graduated with a First in Politics, Philosophy and Economics in 2002. He also holds an MScEcon in International Politics from the University of Wales, Aberystwyth. Philip has been awarded a number of academic prizes and scholarships, including most recently a '+3' award from the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC). Philip is currently completing his doctoral dissertation, an investigation into the politics of peacekeeping.
Philip writes widely on current affairs and international politics, and his articles and essays have appeared both in print and on the web in publications around the world, including spiked, Culture Wars, the American Prospect, Novo and Arena magazines. His personal homepage can be found here.
Conor Foley
Conor Foley is a humanitarian aid worker. He has worked for a variety of human rights and humanitarian aid organisations, including Liberty, Amnesty International and the UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), in Kosovo, Afghanistan, Colombia, Sri Lanka, Indonesia and Bosnia-Herzegovina.
He has helped to establish a legal aid project in Liberia, worked for UN-Habitat in Northern Uganda and carried out research missions for the Overseas Development Institute in Angola and Mozambique. He currently lives and works in Brazil, and is a research fellow at the Human Rights Law Centre at the University of Nottingham.
Tara McCormack
Tara McCormack is a lecturer in European Union studies and International Relations at the University of Westminster.
Her current research engages with critical security theories, the changing interpretation of war and conflict and contemporary international security policy. Tara is engaged in a number of academic working groups. She contributes articles on international affairs to spiked, and reviews to Culture Wars.
